my son was asking me this the other day
thought I tell you
but you have to tell me a funny tale when you tested

Last year all ready to black belt test(okay , sort of ready)
I put my hair in my usual pig tails(like Abby on Ncis)because pony tails hurt my head
had my white gi on, my testing sheet,etc.
anyway, since I'm in the morning class-some other instructors don't know me-
as I come up with my sheet to the table with the instructors
I let them know my name
and one of them asks, "Are you testing in the kids division or adults?"
as she finished -I thinking to myself are you serious ? I smiled/laughed -no, I think I'm too old for the kids.
A couple of people who know me where laughing behind me.
I was 37-I don't think I could pass for anyone under 18-but I think the pigtails threw them off
I laugh at that all the time-makes me feel good
