Thanks for letting me join in the fun! Sorry that I dont have any pictures to share, I might have to get the camera out and have the big bald fuzzy one (aka boyfriend) snap a few of me once all of the snow is gone and I feel l like playing outside again. I've only been training for about four years. Last July I ended up moving from my home in Michigan to Pennsylvania in order to attend acupuncture school. I've been really missing my dojo brothers/sisters, so when I found this tribe I started hoping that this community might help me with some of the loneliness. You ladies appear to have great discussions going on. I look forward to joining them soon!

Yeah, I train in a "dojo" under a "Sifu"....
The style I practice is Yue Chia. There's not a lot of people in the states that know of it. Sifu had gone to Japan when he was a young man and studied what amounted to a Chinese style taught by a Japanese guy. And since his Sensei couldn't go around telling everyone that he was teaching a Chinese martial art, some things got a little twisted along the way. -
