This young lady is in my Tang Soo Do class. It's only been a little over 6 weeks, but she's been making amazing progress. She came to class the other weekend. She went through some basic kicks and punches and did some of her forms (very well, I might add). She still has a way to go, but I'm so inspired by the progress she's made. She also has a very strong spirit. After all she's been through, she is so positive. She's a remarkable young lady.

Mon, May 26, 2008 - 12:29 AMYes, she was a part of our dojang before. She has been to class once since, and she did quite well considering. She is making progress, though there are some things that are difficult for her. She's young, and her body is still developing, so she has that in her favor. Yes, the community has been great. Last weekend I went to a benefit for her in town. The teacher organized it. The restaurant where the benefit was held donated the space and food for the guests, and their employees volunteered their time to work there. The place was packed with people who showed up to support her. It was very uplifting to see.
