Even though he moved away less than 4 year ago
I still missed him teaching-he was nice, funny and a great teacher.
I remember one time I was about do Heian Nidan kata(meaning peaceful mind)
and he ask the meaning
I said, "Peace of mind". and he laughed and said , " and You go ahead give them a piece of your mind."

I feel bad for his son, Aidan.
I remember his son interrupting class to say out loud to his father, "I love you Daddy".

Lots of love and prayers to his whole family.

I'm sorry for your loss. It sounds like he will be greatly missed by his whole community. It's wonderful when a person has the ability to enrich so many people's lives, but it makes it that much harder when they leave us.
